Shaun
was born in Bradford, Yorkshire, England on 9 April 1967. He moved to Brisbane
when he was 19. Like Mel, he came out as gay in his mid 20s. On the 9th
of September 1996 he met Mel in an IRC chatroom called GayBrisbane. They
met for coffee shortly after and the rest is history.
Interestingly
he is in many ways the opposite of Mel but being two sides of a coin,
they manage to complete each other. He believes that they have much to
teach each other, which is why the relationship works so well. "Together
